What’s Professional Exchange?

Medical student goes abroad for 1 month to have a medical practice in a hospital, department which he/she chooses. It’s educational, in meaning you get no salary for it.
You get medical experience, meet your colleagues from all over the world, get to know the country you’re staying in, the culture and people, and have lots of fun.
This exchange is coordinated by part of IFMSA, called SCOPE – Standing Committee on Professional Exchange.

What’s Research Exchange?

Medicine student goes abroad for 1-3 months and together with a team of doctors and/or researchers does a research about his/her chosen subject.
You expand your knowledge about some specific science area, also get to know people from all around the world, spend lots of good time in abroad country and get to know it.
Exchange of researches is coordinated by SCORE – Standing Committee on Research Exchange.
